Ubin Trip on 22nd June 2009 - Yesterday (:
Had lots of fun..

At times I wish I am born in the kampong ira..
Where life is just so simple.. So Nice!

Unlike the life we are leading now.. So hectic!

I love Pulau Ubin...

I admire how simple life can be..Just playing with water at the river bank..

Waiting for durians to drop from the trees..running around bare footed..

I love the nature..it simply makes my heart melt...

Why I am not born there? :((

I always choose to lead my life as simple as possible..

mingle around with different people..

people from different walks of life..

My neighbour say I look like those girls who love to shop for branded stuff.

He is totally wrong.. I am always an "auntie" when it comes to buying things..

Be it clothes or whatsoever..I always shop around to find the cheapest possible price before purchasing it.

I guess he see my true colour..when we go out together last week..hahaha

Ok back to Ubin trip..

The weather is very good yesterday.. very windy..not too sunny..

Boyfriend brought for me my fav chocolate..he hide inside his bag.. But I saw it !

hehe. so before reaching ubin I started eating the chocolate le..

hehe.enjoying the breeze..while boyfriend cycle..this time round he is so sweet. Unlike before we were together. haha

Boyfriend say he not tired at all.. But seeing him sweat so much.. makes me love him MORE ! cause he is willing to suffer for me??? hehehe

Nice scenery..Wind so big till I can't open my eyes.. hehe joking la. I happen not to open my eyes.. -__-" the tower is kinda shaky..I am quite scare actually. hehe

Hehe.. I am having lots of fun =) Never carry anything.. don't need to cycle.. whee! My boyfriend did not complain at all. sweet ! I love.

Went over to my house in Ubin..hahaha

Went to see the introduction/value of Chek Jawa..

I love Ubin.. I wish I can stay there forever.. the peaceful island...

After resting for sometime we continue our journey..

Along the way we saw this..boyfriend say the water there is super clean..But I remembered I once urine-d there when I am in OBS camp..when we go canoe-ing.. hahaha not that I want to pollute the clean water.. Is because the instructor say "toilet is everywhere".. -__-"

and they only allow us to do our "businesses" in the public.. Not in the toilet..lol

Went to the chef villager's house.. eat durian and chit chat with him..I tell him how much I admire his life..anyway the durian there is super duper nice. haha. No preservatives.

Visit the wild boar at chef villager's house..boyfriend and I visited him 2 years plus plus ago..

The wild boar name is "ZEC"..hahaha. is the wild boar as handsome as the ZEC in high school musical and seventeen again?

Super Obedient..he jump up when the chef villager feed him bread.. he listen to what the chef villager say..so cute..hehehe

The rabbits..in the cage..

so cute hor..I used to have a pet rabbit when I am young..is a gift from my forth aunt.. Is white and with red eyes..but the rabbit no longer around le :(

p.s. Not that I like rabbit..please don't give me one..

pardon me but I have to state here..I have lots of stitch keychains, handphone chains, etc after I say I like the burger stitch handphone chain..(-__-)" I scare I say I like rabbits I will end up with lots of rabbits.. LOL.

Love the simple life here !!!!!!!!! most of the time I am telling the chef villager and the 2 other uncles..how I wish I am born here !!!!!!!! and how much I appreciate this kind of simple life.. the chef villager share lots of stories with me.. don't know why.. we clicked so well. chat-ted none stop..but still....we have to say goodbye.....I promised to visit him again - soon. (:

I told him to wait for me..wait till I am successful one day..I will buy a ferry to send all the children in Ubin to Singapore..and from Singapore to Ubi for FREE. as he told me the expenses for the children here is very high due to transportation cost.. thus people here seldom get a chance to go school.. most of them move to the city area because of that..

:( I am so afraid..one day the kampong life in Ubin will not exist anymore..

See..Ubin is such a nice place. Why can't more people appreciate the nature?

Many people don't like to go Ubin because they are afraid of the sun..afraid of the mosquitoes..afraid of snakes..afraid of practically everything.. -__-"

The coconut there is super sweet and nice.. (: Since we still have time.. boyfriend cycle me to NPCC campsite..I seriously miss all my NPCC squad mates..miss those days we had training in Pulau Ubin..Miss Ann Li mdm (my idol)..miss all my NPCC NCO (seniors) , Station inspector and Cadet Inspector..! Miss all the teacher in charge too.. especially Mr Oh..

But we still meet la..haha Mr Oh at times will meet us out for dinner.. (: But is always the same old few who went for the dinner..

See..the NPCC Campsite..the place I used to come in the past.. I remember I am super good at all the high rope obstacles.. Because I am not afraid of high.. and I am very good at rock climbing too. But is in the past la..haha. Now I think I can't le..very long never exercise.. Lol..

I miss those days.. But.. I think we will never meet as a squad again? Can that be my 21st birthday wish? to see each and every person in my squad?

a lil update..i am...
