Have you heard of the Starfish Story?

I got a cute notepad..but I can't bare to use it..Because there is a story in it.. (:
I love stories.. especially those that touches my heart..
The story goes..
As the old man walked the beach at dawn , he noticed a boy ahead of him picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea. Finally catching up with the boy, he asked why he was doing this. The answer was that the stranded starfish would die if left until the morning sun. "But the beach goes on for miles and there are millions of starfish," said the old man. "How can your effort make any difference?" The boy looked at the starfish in his hand and then threw it safely into the waves.
"It makes a difference to this one," he said.

I think it's very meaningful (: Personally I think helping others will brighten up your day for no reason. Be it minor thing or what..as long as you help..it still makes a difference..I often try my best to treat every of my friends and love ones as good as possible.. as I believe they will treat me good in return..
There is a saying : Others are mirror image of yourself..
Thus, always try to help others near you. Try to phrase others instead of pulling others down.. It will make you a better person (: Say more positive things than negative things.. As it reflect what type of person you are. Reflect every night what you have said that hurt others feeling or make others feel unhappy. Others are mirror image of yourself.. Be good to others and others will be good to you. Apologise is the best solution if you did something wrong.
